Many congratulations to the 138 members of year 7 who took part in their overnight activity expedition on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th September. They were brilliant in overcoming their fears and making new friends through the experience of team games and tasks, aerial trek, night hike, crate stacking, building a giant catapult and “all aboard” (parents should ask their children to explain). The marshmallows were crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside, the weather was good, there were many fallow deer about the campsite, and songs from “Frozen” echoed relentlessly around the coach and the campfire. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
