This week saw both Junior and Senior Literary House Quizzes take place.
The senior competition was a true cruncher which really tested the wits of the book-buffs who represented their houses. The specialist rounds on horror and science fiction had everyone scratching their heads, but it was nice to see many older pupils who took part in our quizzes when they were in the juniors return for the senior events.
The junior section was a much louder affair in which there was a truly massive turnout with many houses having multiple substitutes, allowing them to rotate their teams after every ten questions. There were four pupils in a team, but a few houses could easily have had ten!
Marlborough won the senior section and Clyde were victorious in the junior section. Well done to everyone who participated.
