Outstanding pupil artwork celebrated

Following our exceptional Art A level Art results this year, an exhibition of artwork by some of our outstanding students was displayed at Tanya Baxter Contemporary, King's Road on Tuesday 4th December. Emanuel pupils exhibited alongside pupils from The Grey Coat Hospital, Westminster City School, Sutton Valence School and Queen Anne’s School, Caversham who all form part of our foundation.

There was a fantastic range of work on display ranging from complex and highly skilled paintings, to experimental sculpture, film and ceramic pieces. It is always exciting to see the new and innovative ways that students respond to artists, media and ideas and then go on to develop their own artistic voice.

The private view was extremely well attended by all the exhibiting OEs, current students and their parents, as well as Emanuel governors and staff.

Very many thanks to Emanuel parents, Tanya and Pip Todd-Warmoth, who kindly lent their gallery and their expertise in curating the show.
