During the half-time interval of the recent international rugby fixture between England and Japan at Twickenham, two OEs were involved in a demonstration promoting touch rugby.
Former Emanuel School Captains Will Serocold (OE2006-13) and Dom Tripp (OE2007-12) are members of the England High Performance Training Squad, which is currently preparing for the 2019 World Cup in Malaysia. Touch rugby is a sport which is growing in popularity and we’re sure Dom and Will are terrific ambassadors for the game, with them both also working in the world of sport.
Dom and Will are remembered at Emanuel as outstanding captains, so it's fantastic to hear of their continued success on the rugby field. Having both played fly-half at school and captaining their respective years, both men now also play touch rugby for the same club side (the London Scorpions). In 2016, they played for England when they won the European Touch Rugby Championships - an event held over five days of competition in Jersey.
