In Junior Science Club this week we did some dissection. It was very fun and we all enjoyed it. We were given a lamb's brain and heart to dissect in my group and we found three long tubes inside the heart that are used for pumping blood around the body. It was very fascinating cutting into and exploring all of these organs and parts of the body and it really helped me understand how our body works.
Before I did this club I did not like the idea of dissection and I did not have any interest in the human body and how it works but now I am like a whole new person interested in a whole new range of things, all thanks to dissection!
