The last lunch of the autumn term is always our Christmas lunch and yesterday the catering team served a wonderful array of traditional Christmas fayre. Delicious roast turkey with gravy, pigs-in-blankets, stuffing and cranberry sauce or for vegetarians, a tasty roast vegetable and lentil slice, both of which were accompanied by crispy roast potatoes, Brussel sprouts, carrots and broccoli. For dessert there was a choice of Christmas pudding with creamy custard, mince pies, jelly and satsumas.
We had help from IT and Amanda and Orla who provided us with a great sound system so that we could play a variety of Christmas songs for everyone to sing along.
From the happy, munching, smiling faces in the photos I think you can see that the day was a great success.
